We are currently accepting submissions for our June 2020 issue. Submissions will close on the 29th of February, 2020.
June 2020 Theme: LGBT in Rural Ireland
We are accepting short stories, poetry, and short scripts. Short stories and scripts should be a maximum of 1,500 words, and poems should be no more than 40 lines.
Email your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org (That's Rural Rainbows Literary Magazine, but one word). Short stories should be sent with the subject line 'Submission: Short Story', scripts with the subject line 'Submission: Scripts', and poetry with the subject line 'Submission: Poetry'.
You can submit to more than one category, but they must be sent separately.
In your email, include your name, the title and word count of your piece, a cover letter, and a short biography (no more than 150 words).
Your piece should be an attached word document.
We accept multiple submissions, but please alert us if your piece is published elsewhere, as we cannot accept previously published work.
Do not include your name in the piece itself.
Your piece should be in Times New Roman, size 12, with 1.5 spacing.
Be mindful of grammar and spelling, but one or two mistakes will not make a difference to our decisions.
Submissions close on the 29th of February, 2020 with no exceptions. Any submissions after this period will be discarded.
